For those we serve, our residential program can become a second family. Through this program, we lend assistance in embracing every stage of life and offer the ability to age in place.
Each of our seven group homes is located in Corvallis and offers a supportive, secure, and individualized environment. Every home is staffed with 24-hour care providers who help residents thrive as independently as possible. Each home is overseen by a Program Manager, with guidance from a dedicated Program Director.
Many supported individuals move directly from their family home into a Home Life home, where they build meaningful relationships and create lasting bonds with housemates and staff. These homes emphasize not just safety and care but the relational aspects of home—helping individuals feel truly at ease.
Living in a Home Life home means being a part of the greater community. Residents participate in activities such as bowling nights, community gatherings, and public events, fostering social connections and enriching their lives outside of the home.
The Home Life team is also “Team Lucy.” We know she is developing essential skills of young adulthood through the dedication and care of Home Life staff. During the toughest of times through the pandemic, Home Life staff have been caring. With deep appreciation and respect.

My son Tom was with his brother and I on a family trip to Washington D.C. It was a busy week that included time with other family and a visit to one of Tom’s favorite places, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington. Toward the end of the week, Tom announced that he was ready to go back to his “other family at Koebel House.” That tells me that Home Life is meeting Tom’s need to belong. It reassures me that he will continue to feel this way after I am no longer around.

Our son Stefan has been able to grow and mature with the help of Home Life staff and activities that our family has greatly appreciated. He has been supported and nurtured by creative and caring staff. During times of change, when we may not know what the future will bring, it is comforting to know he is in a safe and secure home.

When we accept someone into our Residential Program, it’s a lifelong commitment. Our clients can age in place, living comfortably in a familiar environment surrounded by people they know and love. This approach avoids the need for disruptive transitions to assisted living facilities and ensures continuity of care, preserving their routines, relationships, and dignity.
Sustainability and Innovation
Several of our homes are powered by solar energy, thanks to grants awarded by SERC and ARRA in 2012. This commitment to sustainability not only reduces our environmental footprint but also enhances the quality of life for our residents.
